The Innovations in Educational Spectroscopy Grant Program
This grant from Ocean Optics provides resources to public and private teaching institutions. The program strives to promote the use of spectroscopy as a general-purpose, broad-based measurement tool, and to enable the use of state-of-the-art instrumentation and technology in science and engineering curricula. The Napa Valley Unified Education Foundation has raised over $850,000 for students in the Napa Valley Unified School District.

The National Science Foundation funds research and education for more than 2,000 colleges and universities across the USA.

The Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh (SSP) contributes grants to the science programs of small colleges and universities (7500 students or less). Grants are for the acquisition and/or upgrade of spectroscopy equipment or accessories.
